Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Oracle APEX to lead development of the Zero Process Oracle (ZPO) Process Registry platform. This greenfield opportunity will allow you to architect and build an enterprise‑grade application that transforms how Oracle manages and improves critical business processes.
Role Overview As the APEX Lead, you will design and implement the core ZPO Registry using Oracle APEX, including dynamic Gate assessment workflows, role‑based dashboards for multiple personas, automated quarterly report generation, and real‑time metrics tracking. You will mentor junior developers, integrate AI/ML model outputs into user interfaces, and ensure the platform scales to support all of Oracle.

Responsibilities
Lead development of the ZPO Process Registry using Oracle APEX.
Design and implement process assessment workflows with dynamic scoring calculations and real‑time validation.
Build responsive, persona‑based dashboards for Process Owners, ZPO Team, and Leadership with drill‑down analytics.
Develop automated quarterly report generation with export to PDF, PowerPoint, and plain text formats.
Implement role‑based access control (RBAC) using APEX authorization schemes with Oracle IDCS integration for SSO/MFA.
Create interactive reports with real‑time search, filtering, and drill‑down capabilities for 1,000+ process records.
Build metrics history tracking and improvement timeline visualisations, including before/after comparisons.
Integrate AI/ML model outputs into dashboards and user interfaces (constraint predictions, Gate scoring recommendations, automated insights).
Collaborate with Database Developer on data model integration, stored procedures, and query optimisation.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of Oracle APEX development experience with proven delivery of enterprise applications.
Expert‑level knowledge of APEX 24.1+ features, Universal Theme customization, and Redwood design patterns.
Strong JavaScript skills for client‑side validation, dynamic interactions, and real‑time UI updates.
Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile‑first development principles.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle AOP (Application Office Print) for advanced report generation.
Knowledge of Oracle IDCS for SSO/MFA integration patterns.
Experience integrating AI/ML model APIs into APEX applications.
Background in process management or workflow automation applications.
Oracle APEX certification or equivalent credentials.
Experience with performance optimisation and scalability tuning for large user bases.
Required Skills Oracle APEX, JavaScript, Responsive Design, PL/SQL, Oracle Database, REST APIs, UI/UX Design.
