Job Summary The TIMI Research Coordinator coordinates human clinical research activities across multiple cardiovascular trials within the Partners Healthcare System. The role requires independent work, compliance with regulatory requirements, NIH Guidelines, and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

Support investigators through all phases of clinical research, including trial initiation, coordination/implementation, and close‑out.

Develop and submit IRB applications, prepare budgets, and coordinate ancillary services.

Screen medical records to identify eligible subjects, approach potential participants, and assist in recruitment.

Maintain accurate case report forms, regulatory binders, and trial records.

Schedule and conduct follow‑up visits, process biological samples, and manage trial medications.

Enter data using manual and electronic systems, submit documentation to data management and laboratories, and amend protocols as required.

Notify sponsors and IRB of adverse events (AEs & SAEs) and submit annual protocol continuing reviews.

Provide participant education, orient and train new staff, and serve as a resource for site staff.

Assist with final trial reporting to the IRB and prepare documents for audits.

Adhere to department service standards and perform other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

3–5 years of human clinical trial research experience, with cardiovascular disease experience preferred.

Knowledge of federal and institutional policies governing human research.

Proficiency with Windows‑based software (Word, Excel, data management systems).

Fluency in English; Spanish fluency preferred.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Strong written and oral communication abilities.

Meticulous documentation skills and ability to meet aggressive deadlines.

Ability to safeguard confidential information.

Comfortable in hospital inpatient and outpatient environments.

$49,504.00 – $72,404.80 per year
