LMC Consulting Group is a leading management consulting firm in the Pacific Northwest.We areseekinga technically skilled and detail-oriented Enterprise Applications Manager to work for Microsoft’s Corporate Headquarters in their Global Security Systems organization. The goal of this position will be to manage and evolve enterprise wide Azure based applications in support of Microsoft Global Security. Location:Remote · All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship Salary:90k to $125k DOE plus benefits Key Responsibilities: Azure Platform Integration and Architecture Architect and execute the backend integration of enterprise application platforms with related systems across Azure cloud and on-premises environments. Ensure solutions adhere to security-by-design principles, including data encryption at rest and end-to-end TLS. Ensure seamless interoperability of the platforms. Administer Azure Virtual Machines, networking, and storage resources. Optimize configurations for high availability and performance to meet enterprise resiliency requirements. Cloud Security and Compliance Enforce secure configurations in Azure aligned with internal SDL, FedRAMP, and NIST standards. Oversee the full lifecycle of digital certificates, including renewals and rotations, using tools like Azure Key Vault for secure key storage. Maintain detailed documentation (Threat Modelling) and logs to ensure audit readiness and compliance with any security exceptions (EGRC). Secure Operations and Identity Management Implement and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) features like Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and fine-grained RBAC to enforce the principle of least privilege. System Monitoring and Incident Response Deploy and manage Azure-based monitoring solutions (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) to track system health and detect anomalies. Collaborate with IT teams to respond swiftly to incidents, implement corrective actions, and minimize downtime and security risks. Collaboration and Platform Lifecycle Management Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Risk Management, Regional Security Ops, vendor partners) to align infrastructure changes with business needs. Lead the planning and execution of major platform upgrades and rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to security guidelines. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of application administration, planning and deployment. Experience with understanding, explaining and documenting application architecture and data flow models Strong understanding of network architecture, TLS/SSL, and server hardening practices. Experience with compliance frameworks and audit preparation.
