Job Description
This Demand Planner role is responsible for facilitating and driving the consensus process with cross functional groups to determine an accurate forecast of expected shipments by brand. They must also have a strong background in data analytics and a passion for cross‑functional collaboration to support KHC’s digital transformation and Demand Planning’s vision.
What's on the Menu:
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and finance to understand marketing programs, new product introductions, pricing changes, promotions, and events to meet customer demand
Facilitate monthly consensus process based on information gained to develop a forecast to meet Supply Chain service, inventory and losses goals; track weekly and monthly forecast error to identify contributing factors and adjust the necessary item and/or DC levels
Perform brand and item mix analysis and provide insights to facilitate volume discussions
Become brand volume expert through understanding consumption and shipment trends in addition to category and industry dynamics
Partner with supply planning to understand supply chain implications of forecast changes
Perform o9 maintenance to eliminate exception errors and increase forecast accuracy
Responsible for 2‑year forecast by month, by demand forecasting unit in forecasting system used for manufacturing and deployment planning
Continuous improvement to forecasting process to minimize forecast error
Share best practices amongst planners
Recipe for Growth:
At least 2 years of experience in demand planning/forecasting or integrated planning functions
Relevant experience or classroom knowledge in logistics, demand planning/forecasting, supply planning, or other supply chain functions
Proficiency in Excel and analytics required
Preferred APS knowledge (o9, JDA, or similar)
MS Office (Access, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote)
New Hire Base Salary Range: $77,800.00 - $97,300.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance‑based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
