JOB TITLE: SAP ABAP Developer
LOCATION: Foster City, CA (Hybrid)
PAY RANGE: $75-$85/hr.
DURATION: 6 months
8+ years of experience with SAP ABAP Programming and SAP CPI Development
RICEFW development experience in S/4 HANA environment under FICO, MM, PP, QM and EWM modules
Hands‑on experience with iFlows, SOAP and REST API calls, JDBC calls, ABAP RFC, and oData services
Job Description:
The SAP ABAP Developer position is primarily responsible for designing and creating software programs and applications through the SAP and ABAP programming codes. The ideal candidate will be able to translate business and functional requirements into cohesive technical specifications and strong solutions. The candidate will plan, manage, implement, support, and/or monitor SAP integration solutions and middleware for on‑premises, cloud, or hybrid scenarios. The candidate will use in‑depth analysis skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to implement effective solutions and provide support services to end users. Additional responsibilities include managing the development and maintenance of system documentation, procedures, and standards.
Responsibilities
ABAP design, development, testing, and deployment experience that includes Fiori, CDS, OData, SAPUI5, Adobe forms, RFC, BRF+, Workflow, HTML, BADI, and User exits.
RICEFW development experience in S/4 HANA environment under FICO, MM, PP, QM, and EWM modules.
Deep understanding of HANA architecture, S/4 HANA, and SAP BTP.
Advanced knowledge of ABAP development practices and understanding End‑to‑End Business processes in S/4 HANA.
Experience maintaining change controls within the SAP and adjacent environment.
Hands‑on experience with iFlows, SOAP and REST API calls, JDBC calls, ABAP RFC, and oData services.
Understand, refine, and comply with integration patterns, standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Proactively troubleshoot and resolve system‑related issues that could impact end‑user experience, data integrity, or overall end‑to‑end system functionality.
Experience in enterprise architecture and Software Development Life Cycle.
Coordinate extensively with business users, functional and cross‑functional team members, developers, and integration resources.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of experience with SAP ABAP Programming and SAP CPI Development.
Experience conducting multiple diagnostic tests for newly created and existing applications to ensure adherence to quality standards and requirements.
Provide technical resolution to end‑users for their system issues and upgrade infrastructure to prevent recurrence of downtimes and system failures.
Troubleshooting production issues.
Previous experience with SAP CPI (or) PI/PO.
Previous integration experience with S/4 HANA.
Experience working on High‑Level Systems Design, Data Design, and Integration Patterns is a plus.
SAP ABAP/CPI Certification preferred.
