What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Own and evolve the open-source and internal research codebases for generative AI

Refactor and modularize large research‑driven code into maintainable libraries

Integrate off‑the‑shelf models into existing pipelines as required

Build model‑serving endpoints for interactive experimentation with models

Design and maintain evaluation pipelines to measure model quality and improvements

What is Required (Qualifications)

Expert‑level proficiency in Python and modular design principles

Fluency with PyTorch and experience in modifying inference‑time model behavior

Proven experience in refactoring large codebases and improving maintainability

Strong knowledge of configuration systems, particularly Hydra, for reproducibility

BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, with 10+ years of industry experience

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Proficiency in hierarchical config systems and environment scoping with Hydra

Experience cleaning up generative model codebases and enhancing code observability

Track record of improving engineering quality in a research context

Mentorship experience in software engineering best practices

Passion for creating elegant and maintainable ML tooling
