Join Axalta to lead Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) operations at a site that is a key contributor to the company’s global performance coatings and mobility coatings segments.
Job Purpose Maintain and improve the site EHS&S system, ensure legal compliance, oversee daily EHS&S operations and laboratory work, and continuously optimize a safe, compliant, attractive and efficient workplace.

Core Responsibilities
EHS&S of individual
Responsible for site legal compliance, EHS&S
Action site emergency response head
5S/safety Area owner for responsible area (site gates rooms, DG warehouse, Industry waste store area, Can compression room)
Legal compliance and safety Accountable for responsible vendor and their activities in site (like site guards, waste treatment on‑site people)
Budget planning, execution, tracking, analysis, control and optimization of site EHS&S, lab operation budget
Site EHS
Government and external party interaction on legal compliance and EHS&S issues
Global and AP EHS&S networking
Serve as the champion for rolling out Corporate and Regional EHS initiatives and continual improvement objectives to the local level
EHS Operation leadership (CSC, safety subcommittee management)
Site EHS&S goals setting, tracking, communication and improvement action
Legal compliance: maintain and optimize site legal compliance program, regulation review process, compliance matrix, monitoring and action
Risk Assessment program
Training: NEO Training, Monthly safety training for APTC people, Contractor safety training
General safety (RCI and ETQ management, Chemical management, MOC program including PSSR, Site Emergency response program, Fire safety, Occupation Health)
Environment: Management of site air emission, waste water, DG waste, and noise
Construction safety: safety work permit program, On‑site contractor safety
Audits: Monthly legal compliance review, Monthly CSC cross audit, 1st party audit (internal audit for critical EHS process) and correction/preventative action follow‑up, Management review, Monthly CSC meeting
Communication: EHS&S SharePoint management, Safety promotion program
Lab Operation & Material management (Waste disposal program, Lab supply and PPE, Site Chemical inventory and compliance, DG warehouse management, Chemical material receiving and distribution, Regulated chemical material management, SAP agent service)
Daily operation and compliance management
System/equipment Inspection, maintenance
Other tasks assigned by line manager
Requirements
Bachelor degree or above, major in Engineering (safety, chemical, mechanical/electrical…, or Science is MUST)
At least 5 years’ experience of site EHS&S from MNC environment
Familiar with Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills, interacts easily with all employee levels
Good command in both written and spoken English
Smart, efficient working attitude; able to work under pressure
High efficiency, sense of responsibility and team player
Demonstrated improvements leveraging Six Sigma tools, and GB and BB will be plus
