Senior Accountant – SEC Filings, Lease Accounting, and Reconciliations at a publicly traded fresh food manufacturing company.

Base Pay Range $85,000 - $125,000 per year

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Prepare and post journal entries and analyze reconciliations.

Support month‑end close, intercompany entries, and eliminations.

Maintain lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842.

Assist with fixed assets and depreciation schedules.

Conduct freight expense and SG&A analysis.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Contribute to SEC filing support and audit preparation.

Reconcile liability, bank, and unvouchered accounts.

Deliver ad hoc financial reporting and senior‑level insights.

Qualifications – Needed

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of SEC reporting experience in a public company.

At least 5 years in similar accounting roles.

Proficiency with GAAP and internal controls.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with Microsoft D365, ProducePro, or other ERP systems.

Lease accounting and fixed asset management expertise.

Audit or international accounting experience is a plus.
