Position Overview Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated Resident Manager I to join their client's team and manage multiple affordable housing properties in San Rafael and Fairfax, CA. This full-time role requires the manager to oversee the daily operations of HUD, HUD Section 811, and HUD 811 PRAC properties, ensuring the well-being of both the properties and their residents. The Resident Manager will handle administrative tasks, facilities management, and foster positive resident relations to maintain the fiscal, physical, and social integrity of each site.

Responsibilities

Collecting rent and making bank deposits.

Preparing and submitting rent rolls.

Conducting income verification in compliance with HUD, TCAC, and other regulations.

Managing waiting lists, preparing, and processing leases.

Supervising on-site staff.

Processing evictions, conducting annual inspections, and coordinating repairs.

Submitting vouchers for HUD properties.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in affordable housing property management.

Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH, and ADA guidelines.

Skills in budget development and variance reporting.

Strong problem-solving abilities and staff management experience.

Valid driver's license, clean DMV record, and reliable transportation.

Experience with Yardi software is a plus.

Compensation

Salary Range: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour.

Typical Hiring Range: $28.00 - $36.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Final offer will consider candidate experience and internal equity.
