Responsibilities
Provide obstetric and gynecological care to patients
Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
Diagnose and treat various Ob/Gyn conditions
Perform surgical procedures as needed
Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Participate in patient education and counseling
Adhere to all safety and health regulations
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution
Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Ob/Gyn
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Level III Trauma
Schedule: 12 or 24-hour weekday or weekend call shifts, 1:5 rotation
Setting: Inpatient
Delivery Volume: 65-80 per month
40% low-risk patients, 60% high-risk patients
Duties: OB triage, deliveries, rounding, circumcisions if able, and
Required Procedures: Deliveries, laceration repairs, surgical gynecology, FHR interpretation, ultrasounds, and amniocentesis
Support Staff: 4 MDs, 1-2 CNMs, and labor & delivery, post-partum, OR, and ER staff
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
