The Fiscal Compliance Manager ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local grant requirements, with a strong emphasis on OMB Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200). This role oversees fiscal compliance through financial monitoring, risk management, reporting, and internal controls that support the effective delivery of social service programs. The position safeguards the Association’s funding integrity, mitigates compliance risks, and ensures accurate, transparent financial reporting.

The Fiscal Compliance Manager reports directly to the VP of Compliance and Ethics, with a strong dotted line to the VP of Accounting, and works closely with program staff, finance teams, grant and contract compliance managers, and both internal and external auditors.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field required AND, Master’s degree in related field OR 2+ years' of relevant equivalent years of experience

5+ years’ experience in grants management, financial compliance, or nonprofit accounting, with at least 3+ years' focused on federal grants in a social services or similar nonprofit organization required

Licensing, state law and our government funders require that staff within YMCA of San Diego County be fingerprinted, prior to reporting to work, and include subsequent arrest notifications

CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification, must include Adult and Child/Infant, obtained within 30 days of hire and must be from one of the following certifying organizations:

American Red Cross

American Heart Association

American Safety & Health Institute
