The Department of Ophthalmology at UNC–Chapel Hill is seeking a full‑time open‑rank oculoplastic/orbital surgeon. Academic rank and salary are negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
MD or DO required.
Completed a 12‑24 month post‑residency fellowship training in oculoplastic/orbital surgery.
Graduated from an approved ophthalmic residency training program and satisfactory completion of a fellowship.
Board certification or eligibility, and eligibility for licensure in North Carolina required.
Excellent training in surgery of the orbit.
Excellent clinical & surgical skills, ophthalmic ultrasound experience.
Strong commitment to teaching and ongoing interest in clinical and/or basic science research.
Position Details NOTE: FTE is negotiable between 0.5 – 1.0 FTE. Position will also perform work occasionally at the Fayetteville VA.
