The Senior Solution Architect will support the Risk Controls Enhancements (RCE) program, a large-scale enterprise initiative aimed at modernizing and consolidating Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC) processes, data, and reporting. In this role, you will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions. You will translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions while guiding development teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical workshops to gather and validate GRC/IRM requirements with stakeholders

Design and document technical solutions leveraging ServiceNow IRM best practices

Configure and customize ServiceNow IRM applications to support the full risk lifecycle

Develop artifacts such as risk registers, assessment methodologies, and control frameworks

Create dashboards and reporting for risk and compliance visibility

Advise on platform governance, data models, and long-term roadmap planning

Mentor junior developers and review technical deliverables

Troubleshoot and resolve complex risk-related issues

Stay current on ServiceNow IRM releases, industry trends, and regulatory changes

Oversee automation of risk assessments, controls testing, and issue management workflows

Required Skills

5+ years hands‑on experience with ServiceNow IRM, including GRC processes

10+ years in risk management, GRC, or related fields

Strong experience architecting and implementing large‑scale ServiceNow IRM solutions

Expertise in IRM capabilities: Issue Management, Incident Management, Loss Events, Controls Testing, RCSA, Emerging Risk programs

Solid understanding of GRC frameworks and industry best practices

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Skills

Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, banking)

Familiarity with Agile or iterative development methodologies

Exposure to other risk management software or enterprise risk processes

Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
