Responsibilities Seeking a
ServiceNow Architect
to lead the delivery and future state solution of a large-scale ServiceNow initiative. Scope includes supporting the ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, Security Operations, and Strategic Portfolio Management modules. This will include operations, automation, workflow standardization, and platform governance. The architect will drive the future state roadmap and ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and built the right way — not just the fast way.
Duties and Responsibilities
Own ServiceNow platform architecture, roadmap, and design standards.
Lead alignment across applications, infrastructure, and services.
Architect integrations (directory/identity, monitoring/event management, ERP/finance, endpoint management tools).
Establish and enforce development best practices: security, ACL/RBAC, Flow Designer, ATF, release pipelines.
Guide product owners, developers, and admins; approve solution designs.
Ensure performance, scalability, and upgrade readiness.
Build dashboards that show operational value and outcomes (not just activity).
Reduce technical debt; streamline change/incident/problem workflows.
Qualifications Education and Years of Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Required Skills/Certifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Minimum 7+ years of ServiceNow experience.
3+ years acting as a ServiceNow Architect or Design Authority.
Deep expertise in:
ITSM (Incident/Problem/Change/Request)
ITOM
ITAM
Security operations
Strategic portfolio management
IntegrationHub & Flow Designer
Strong understanding of non-functional requirements: performance, security, upgradeability, and release management.
Proven experience leading cross-functional delivery teams.
Preferred Experience
ServiceNow support for a large enterprise or public-sector environment
Platform automation: Automated Test Framework (ATF), pipelines, CI/CD
Service Mapping, ITOM, Performance Analytics
Preferred (any of the following)
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) — ITSM / Discovery / CMDB / CSDM
Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – highly preferred
ITIL v4 Foundation or higher.
