We are seeking a technically sound Middleware Engineer with foundational experience in engineering and automation activities. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of WebSphere products, automation using Ansible, and scripting. This role involves middleware setup, configuration, and support in both traditional and containerized environments. Job Responsibilities: Install, configure, and administer WebSphere Application Server (ND/Base) Work with WebSphere Liberty in virtualized and containerized environments (e.g., Podman, OpenShift) Write basic automation playbooks using Ansible Create scripts in Shell, and optionally in Python or PowerShell Manage SSL certificates and implement security configurations Apply application server design patterns and architectural principles Support and maintain other middleware products such as Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS, and NGINX Document solutions and architectural details using Excel and PowerPoint Participate in Agile teams and follow Agile methodologies Required Skills:

WebSphere Application Server (ND/Base) installation, configuration, automation, and administration WebSphere Liberty working knowledge in both VMs and container environments Ansible basic experience writing and managing playbooks Scripting Shell scripting required; Python/PowerShell is a plus Understanding of Agile frameworks and workflows Good grasp of application server design/architecture patterns Certificate management and security principles Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint (technical documentation, presentations) Preferred Skills:

Experience with Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS, and NGINX Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools like OpenShift (OCP) and Podman Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools Certifications:
