Responsibilities and Duties

Serve as the sole emergency medicine provider in a freestanding emergency department

Deliver timely and effective care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions

Utilize advanced clinical judgment to diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of emergency cases

Ensure compliance with established protocols and safety standards

Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

Collaborate with support staff to optimize patient flow and care

Additional Information

Must have a current Florida medical license

Required board certifications: Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine

Must have completed at least 6000 hours of full‑time emergency room work during the past three years

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required

Experience working independently in emergency settings is strongly preferred
