Laborist Physician - Virtua OB/GYN Hospitalists

Schedule:
12 hour shifts; 36 hours per week (12‑ and 24‑hour shifts)
About The Role Virtua's Laborist/OBGYN Hospitalist team is looking to add experienced, full‑time physicians to their growing team. The position supports patient care at Virtua Mt. Holly and Virtua Voorhees hospital locations, requiring board certification with at least 2 years of experience. Operative delivery experience is preferred but not required.
In this role physicians are part of a cohesive team, leading patient care, coaching residents, and contributing to hospital committees. The schedule encourages work/life balance with 12‑hour increments and provides advance notice. Physicians also earn PTO.
Physicians partner with 24 ACGME‑accredited OB/GYN residents, certified nurse midwives, and nurses to support patients' birth experiences, focusing on quality and safety. All physicians are welcome to join hospital and resident committees.
Virtua handled over 9,000 births last year across multiple campuses, each equipped with neonatology units and specialized services. Post‑delivery patients receive private rooms in the Mother‑Baby Unit.
Compensation Salary: $315,000.00 annually; variable based on experience, equity, and market data.
