We are seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in Maine, starting Mar 9, 2026, with a 120‑day contract. This role offers a mix of day shifts (7a‑7p), with coverage split between a main hospital and a critical access hospital, and a schedule of Monday through Sunday with at least two weeks per month.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide inpatient hospitalist care, splitting coverage between a main hospital and a critical access hospital.

Manage approximately 15 patients per unit, with 2‑4 discharges and admissions per day.

Perform vent management as required.

Deliver high‑quality clinical care in both large‑hospital and critical access settings.

Additional Information

Experience with both large hospitals and critical access hospitals is highly preferred.

Must have an active Maine medical license.

Required board certifications: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
