Schedule We are considering two options for the Financial Coordinator 1 position: - Four 10‑hour shifts (7a‑5p). - Five 8‑hour shifts (7a‑3p). The proposed schedule will include one weekend day per week.
Responsibilities
Audit and verify client charges for accuracy.
Prepare and update cost‑of‑care estimates.
Process client and hospital payments.
Review invoices and resolve routine billing issues.
Track missed charges and help improve financial workflows.
Communicate payment options and financial updates to clients.
Assist with special projects and administrative support.
Qualifications
Experience in customer service, finance, or a veterinary/medical setting preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Comfortable using accounting software and Microsoft Office.
Education and Experience
General knowledge of billing, accounts receivable, and payment processing.
Minimum of two years of experience working in customer service, with customer accounts, medical billing or equivalent.
Experience in a veterinary facility and/or familiarity with veterinary terminology, medications, procedures is a bonus.
