We are looking for a Fab Operations Supervisor – Night Shift to oversee our manufacturing processes and lead the operator teams across multiple production lines.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and oversee shift performance across Front End, Back End, Probe, EPI, and other manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with process engineering, logistics, and R&M to ensure attainment of site goals.
Supervise operator teams to maintain a safe working environment, deliver high‑quality, cost‑competitive products on time, and lead continuous improvement efforts.
Create a positive work environment that encourages open communication, employee recognition, and training plans to support manufacturing needs.
Effectively execute 8D and 5‑Why processes and Agile ICAR updates, including presentation development.
Provide input for procedural changes to streamline operations and assist in training new supervisors.
Act as stand‑in for Manager/Senior Manager when required.
Education & Experience
BS Degree or equivalent combined experience and education.
10+ years minimum related experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
Skills
Team leadership and management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
Ability to work in a high‑complexity environment and deliver results across multiple metrics.
Professional and respectful collaboration with coworkers, vendors, contractors, etc.
Working Conditions
Work in a class 100/1000 clean room for extended periods.
Wear full clean‑room attire (smock, mask, etc.).
Work with and/or around chemicals such as solvents and acids.
Work 12‑hour compressed shifts, alternating between 3 and 4 shifts per week.
Physical Requirements
Stand for up to 4 hours at a time.
Lift up to 16‑30 pounds.
Push/Pull up to 51‑75 pounds.
Sit for up to 4 hours at a time.
Safety Requirements All employees are required to attend scheduled training, follow site EHS procedures and corporate EHS standards, and use required PPE. Managers will ensure consistent compliance with safety and environmental procedures, risk assessments, and training.
Quality And Environmental Responsibilities Responsible for the execution and maintenance of ISO 9000, 9001, 14001, and other applicable standards under the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
