Immediate need for a
Regional Service Manager (Biomedical Equipment Services) to oversee the delivery of service and support for medical equipment within a designated geographic area, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting service goals. This role involves managing field service technicians, coordinating service activities, and potentially managing relationships with key customers. They would also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced
Biomedical Manager
to oversee biomedical equipment operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of biomedical technicians, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing equipment performance, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to support patient care.
The successful Regional Service Manager must possess a strong combination of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and interpersonal abilities. They will be able to manage teams, troubleshoot problems, and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel. Must also have experience servicing stretchers, beds, cots (Stryker/Ferno EMS Stretchers/Gurneys.
Ex-Military is a plus but not required. A B.S. degree from an accredited school in Electronics/Biomedical Engineering, or DoD certification or equivalent experience.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Technology Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Minimum of
5+ years
in biomedical engineering, with at least
2 years
in a leadership role (link removed)> Certifications (Preferred):
CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician) or CHTM (Certified Healthcare Technology Manager).
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of medical equipment, diagnostic tools, and regulatory requirements.
Soft Skills:
Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Travel:
Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
