The National Accounts Manager role is both strategic and hands-on, focused on account growth, KPI accountability, and direct client engagement. The National Accounts Manager will also drive merchandising of performance metrics, develop new locations, and actively contribute to new customer acquisition efforts.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.ResponsibilitiesManage and grow national B2B accounts totaling $10M+ in revenue, delivering consistent value and service excellence.Develop and execute strategic plans to increase client retention, wallet share, and multi-location coverage.Collaborate with marketing and leadership to merchandise performance-presenting results, successes, and insights to clients and prospects to reinforce value and support renewals.Proactively identify opportunities to add new customer locations and expand services within existing accounts.Drive new business development within assigned verticals or regions, supporting company growth initiatives.Oversee all aspects of customer experience and ensure delivery meets or exceeds agreed-upon key performance indicators (KPIs).Act as the primary liaison for national clients and collaborate with internal departments (operations, compliance, service, and sales support) to deliver seamless service.Manage third-party service providers to ensure consistency, compliance, and client satisfaction across geographies.Lead pricing discussions, contract renewals, and service proposals, aligning with business goals.Provide regular reporting, performance insights, and growth updates to leadership and clients.Travel up to 30% to meet with clients, develop business opportunities, and oversee service delivery.Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have any direct reports.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience in B2B national or enterprise account management, preferably in a service industry.Proven success managing high-revenue portfolios and growing multi-location customer relationships.Strong understanding of fire and life safety services and regulatory requirements (preferred).Demonstrated experience managing KPIs, presenting performance metrics, and identifying areas for improvement.Ability to work across departments and manage third-party vendors to deliver high-impact solutions.Skilled in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), data analysis, and reporting tools, ERP (Solutions 360) and Microsoft Office.Strong interpersonal, communication, and strategic thinking abilities.Willingness to travel nationally up to 30%.Preferred Qualifications:Industry experience in fire protection, building systems, or facility services.Experience merchandising results through dashboards, case studies, or executive briefings.Background in regulated environments (healthcare, education, logistics, government).
