Opportunity
Airbyte is seeking a Bay Area-based Enterprise Account Executive to join our sales team, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. This individual will be responsible for closing accounts (both inbound and outbound) across various product lines.
The role primarily involves selling to CTO/CIO organizations with frequent interactions with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Heads of Engineering, Developers, Data Scientists, etc. A foundational knowledge of cloud infrastructure, the modern data stack, API-based data connections, and database replication — or the ability to quickly learn industry knowledge — is essential.
Success in this role involves acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts, potentially from single departments to company-wide deployments. This is an opportunity to be an early part of a growing startup sales team with a strong product-led growth approach.
What You'll Do
Manage the entire deal cycle from qualification to closing, tracking progress toward quarterly bookings targets.
Build and maintain relationships across your book of business.
Participate in prospecting and outbound efforts.
Provide feedback on customer needs, feature requests, and competitive intelligence to relevant teams.
Maintain a clean and updated sales pipeline that exceeds quarterly quotas.
What You'll Need
At least 4 years of B2B sales experience in SaaS, Cloud, or Data, with a minimum of 2 years selling to Enterprise Accounts.
A proven track record of quota attainment and overachievement with technical buyers.
Industry experience with data infrastructure.
Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
An optimistic and energetic attitude.
A hunter and farmer sales mentality.

Location
San Francisco, onsite 3 days a week.
Salary
$135,000 - $150,000 + variable compensation, equity, and benefits for US employees.
