Firehawk Aerospace is a leading propulsion-focused aerospace and defense company located in Addison, TX. Our innovative approach empowers us to design and manufacture cutting‑edge solid and hybrid rocket motors and engines. We aim to push the boundaries of propulsion technology to serve both commercial and defense sectors. The General Manager for the Integrations Site will be responsible for the overall management, operations, and performance of our system integration facility Field Location. This includes managing production, safety protocols, logistics, quality assurance, and personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety and regulatory standards in an explosive materials environment. Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the integration site, ensuring the assembly of high‑quality energetic materials are compliant with all safety and regulatory standards. Lead, develop, and manage a team of production, logistics, and quality personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Implement and monitor key performance and drive continuous improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to energetic or explosive materials, workplace safety, and environmental impact. Maintain and improve all health, safety, and environmental practices at the site, including participating in regular safety audits, training programs, and emergency response planning. Develop and manage budgets for the site, including staffing, materials, and equipment, while identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Test, Quality Control, Logistics, Safety) to ensure seamless integration of production processes, production quality and delivery schedules. Oversee compliance with facility security protocols, including physical, personnel, and information security measures. Drive site expansion and integration projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, scope, and budgets. Coordinate lease compliance, site access permissions, and any landlord‑required approvals. Direct and oversee all facility maintenance and infrastructure repairs to ensure continuous operational readiness. Prepare regular reports for senior management of on‑site performance, production metrics, and financial results. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices, training initiatives, and employee development programs. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or substantial equivalent experience in a related field. 12 years minimum experience in manufacturing or operations management, with at least 8 years in a leadership role within the explosives, chemical, or high‑hazard industry. In‑depth knowledge of energetics and/or explosive materials production, safety standards, and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to manage and motivate teams. Excellent problem‑solving skills and a track record of driving operational improvements. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in high‑stakes environments. Ability to work in a field‑based location and travel to various Firehawk locations, as needed. Preferred Qualifications

Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance if required. Advanced knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies. Extensive knowledge of Security and Risk Management. Deep comprehension of DoD 4145.26M, DESR 6055.09, and DoD 5100.76M. ITAR Requirements

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require minimal walking, standing for extended amounts of time, climbing, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. Security Clearance

May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
