Software Engineer, Skill Level 3

Responsibilities include: Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements, including analytics, algorithms, large data manipulation, real-time systems, and business management information systems. Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance specifications. Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features. Debug software and correct defects. Integrate software into new or modified systems or environments. Develop data queries for databases or repositories. Recommend improvements for documentation and development standards. Work individually or as part of a team. Review and test software components for adherence to requirements and document results. Apply appropriate software development methodologies. Contribute to system design, considering hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, COTS/GOTS, and requirements analysis. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or 20 years experience in similar programs. Four years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree. At least 5 years of experience leading and managing technical project tasks. Experience with agile development, managing sprint cycles, and meeting deadlines. TS/SCI clearance, security access, and polygraph required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Desired skills:
