American Bank is looking for a client relationship specialist who will work directly with our commercial lending officers. In addition, this candidate may be asked to support multiple loan officers across multiple locations, as needed. Furthermore, the candidate may be required to physically work in different locations at times, as necessary. Our ideal candidate is a team player with superior communication skills, strong attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills and a proven ability to multitask and work independently.

As the client relationship specialist, you'll deliver the highest level of service and support to internal and external clients, coordinate and manage all facets of the lending process including obtaining all necessary information and documents required to close loans.

What you'll do:

Help gather financial and legal information necessary to underwrite loan requests Help prepare loan memos for circulation to bank officers Gather, organize and help maintain the financial and legal documentation necessary to ensure the bank is in strict compliance with bank regulations Coordinate with law offices, CPA offices, title companies, appraisers and surveyors to gather and organize the documents needed to close loan transactions Be actively involved in the preparation and review of loan documents ensuring accurate and timely loan closings Meet with clients to close loan transactions and or close loan transactions through DocuSign Fund loans and make loan advances via check, wire transfer or direct deposit Properly authenticate customer identity and authorization to act on behalf of the account Provide support to all assigned areas of the department where service or assistance is needed; act as backup for loan department positions and functions Assist loan officers in managing loan pipeline by requesting/gathering information Manage and set up forms and agreements for loan payments Ensure accuracy and proper use of tracking for key information such as Flood Insurance, Property Tax Insurance, UCCs, etc. Provide exceptional service and support to internal and external clients as it relates to the loan and/or loan process Call clients as needed to process checking overdrafts and to collect past due loan payments Work closely with the Treasury Management team to help resolve client issues on deposit accounts and treasury management products Prepares a wide variety of internal and external correspondence and performs official notary services as required Use the bank's accounts payable system to pay invoices for appraisals, title searches, filing fees and expense reports. Reconcile as required Performs other duties and special projects as assigned What we're looking for:

Strong attention to detail Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage multiple files or tasks at a time and in different stages Experience with loan banking systems including CRM (client relationship management tool) Solid understanding of commercial loan and insurance documents Ability to meet deadlines and follow directions in a timely, accurate and confidential manner Work closely with stakeholders at all levels and roles Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Minimum two years' experience in commercial lending, loan processing, or loan servicing High school graduate or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
