The

Sales Director

is responsible for identifying and pursuing potential opportunities to drive new revenue by selling Origence products and services. This individual guides prospects through the system evaluation process and brings them to a timely decision. Additionally, the Director collaborates closely with Sales Engineering to curate tailored solutions. In doing so, this individual should engage professionally with other Origence departments.

What you will do: Proper Target Prospecting

Utilizes sales tools and professional outreach to identify and properly prospect potential clients. Closely monitors pipeline and deploys best practices to grow the pipeline. Works closely with client experience, marketing and product teams to implement lead generation strategies. Engages & presents to prospects and select industry events.

System Evaluation Process

Leads an informative discovery discussion with each interested prospect. With a deep understanding of our product offering and the pain points of the target prospect clients, the sales director works closely with the Sales Engineering Team to help present catered solutions to prospects. The Sales Director guides prospects through the evaluation process in a compelling fashion to a decision about the platform. Documents status and shares feedback with Client Experience, Product, Marketing and Training.

Responsible from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing. Coordinates Requests for Proposals, Statements of Work, Agreements, and other necessary items to properly usher a prospect to a closed won or closed loss opportunity. Properly introduces prospects that are deep in the system evaluation stage to the implementation and client experience teams. Ensures outreach activities are documented multiple times a week within Salesforce and reporting properly in PowerBI.

The Ideal Candidate: Education:

BA or BS degree or commensurate experience

Experience:

Seven years’ experience in the Financial Services industry in a product sales environment

Extensive knowledge of loan origination systems, credit scoring models, core data processors, portfolio monitoring and sales management systems

Extensive knowledge of the Credit Union Marketplace; Credit Union operations, and regulatory compliance

Experience with sales automation tools and customer retention systems.

Ability to manage a complex sales cycle from initial contact to closing.

Specialized Skills:

Proven track record of sales and referral success

Work independently with a high level of initiative

Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

Ability to travel

Excellent Team building skills and mentoring abilities

The starting salary range for this full‑time position is: $100,000 - $125,000 per year plus a generous commission plan. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program.
