The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Lead the delivery of Security Operations services, ensuring alignment with business and service level objectives, and regulatory requirements.
Drive operational excellence through process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., IT, Risk, Compliance) and external partners to ensure seamless integration and delivery of security services.
Serve as the primary point of contact for service performance, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
Develop, maintain, and enforce operational runbooks, incident response playbooks, and service documentation.
Lead the tracking and remediation of findings from incidents, tabletop exercises, threat hunts, and red team engagements.
Manage the Security Operations project portfolio, including delivery timelines, resource planning, and reporting.
Support audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting activities related to Security Operations.
Report key metrics and program performance to senior leadership.
Qualifications (minimum)
Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT operations.
Proven experience managing or partnering with security operations and engineering teams, MSSPs, or hybrid security operations models.
Strong understanding of security engineering and operations, threat detection, and incident response.
Demonstrated ability to manage service delivery and drive change in a complex, global enterprise environment.
Experience with ITIL, service management frameworks, and operational governance.
Additional Qualifications that Could Help You Succeed
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, or PMP.
Experience working in healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
Familiarity with operational technology (OT) and manufacturing environments.
Proficiency with Atlassian (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and Microsoft collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
Understanding of compliance and security frameworks including NIST CSF, FedRAMP, StateRAMP, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor relationship skills.
Work Location

Travel May include up to 10% domestic/international travel.
