Job Overview
VP Project Manager for Frontline Program Management (FPM) at LPL Financial. Responsible for delivering large, complex projects, providing strategic leadership and driving firm priorities.
Responsibilities
Enhance FPM function in partnership with Head of FPM and Transformation & Delivery org.
Own all aspects of project management for FPM initiatives—direct delivery or oversight.
Champion client‑centricity and firm ideals in all interactions.
Establish cross‑functional teams, resource planning, governance, scope and work‑breakdown to achieve strategy and outcomes.
Manage inter‑dependencies to hit program milestones.
Collaborate with business, product and tech stakeholders; work with vendors throughout lifecycle to maximize benefits.
Identify, mitigate and manage risks; know when to elevate issues and solve ambiguities.
Provide ongoing communication and reporting to executive leaders and stakeholders; guide the team on feedback integration.
Implement formalized change management, including business readiness, communications and training.
Requirements
Four‑year college degree or higher (or equivalent experience); background in business, finance or analytics preferred.
10+ years’ experience in project management.
Proven record leading large cross‑functional projects/programs; expertise in PM techniques and system development methodologies.
Adaptable team player comfortable with fast‑paced, changing environment and ambiguity.
Proficiency with PM tools: Teams, Smartsheet, MS Project, Miro, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS‑Suite, Jira, Confluence.
Financial services / banking experience preferred.
Experience leading enterprise‑wide change initiatives and technology solution implementations preferred.
Experience with large business and/or technology transformation programs is a plus.
Core Competencies
Track record delivering large projects/programs under SAFe, Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall frameworks.
Strong organizational knowledge and ability to align with leadership.
High degree of financial services / banking industry knowledge—finance, operations, risk, platform solutions.
Integrity and principled leadership; “doing what you say you’ll do.”
Pay Range $123,975 – $206,625 per year, plus competitive LPL Total Rewards package including 401(k) matching, health benefits, employee stock options, paid time off, volunteer time off, and more.
