About the Role
As Vice President of Manufacturing Operations, you will own the end-to-end manufacturing strategy and execution across production, operations, quality, logistics, R&D, procurement, and compliance. This is a mission-critical leadership role requiring a change agent mindset, a strong engineering foundation, and proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automation-driven process optimization.
You will partner with executive leadership to:
Define and implement operational strategies that deliver world-class manufacturing performance.
Optimize processes and lead cultural transformation to achieve best-in-class standards in quality, safety, and efficiency.
Spearhead CapEx projects, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities for the Vice President of Manufacturing Operations include:
Lead and inspire a multi-site manufacturing organization to deliver operational excellence and scalable growth.
Champion Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
Ensure compliance with FDA and USDA regulations while maintaining the highest standards of food safety.
Drive CapEx projects, plant expansions, and Greenfield initiatives aligned with the company's growth trajectory.
Build and mentor a world-class leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute strategic operational plans and budgetary goals.
The ideal Vice President of Manufacturing Operations should have the following skillset:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; MBA or Master's preferred.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in food manufacturing operations.
8+ years in senior management roles with multi-site responsibility.
Proven track record in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement culture.
LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt certification a plus, but not required.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing large-scale CapEx projects.
Expertise in plant consolidation, relocation, and Greenfield projects.
Exceptional ability to influence, lead change, and deliver transformational results.
