Part-Time Microbiology Lead Technologist

Description Lead Medical Laboratory Technologist to work in Microbiology/Core Laboratory under the supervision of laboratory administrator and supervisor. Candidate will be responsible for testing and implementation of new tests and procedures, managing investigations and deviations, and communicating results to management. The lead technologist will ensure regulatory compliance in addition to supporting the Microbiology staff and the department. Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology from an approved program. Certified as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist by the New York State Education Department; 4 years relevant laboratory experience.
