Job Title Intermittent Heavy Equipment Operator Hours per week : Varies FLSA Status : Non-Exempt Reports to : DPW Director Department : DPW Grade : 9 (SAP) Position Overview The Town of Lunenburg’s Department of Public Works is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Intermittent Heavy Equipment Operator. Job Duties This position performs a variety of skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled work associated with winter operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years’ experience operating heavy equipment and trucks in snow plowing and removal operations; or any combination of training and experience so as to demonstrate possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work. Requirements Valid driver’s license Valid Class B Massachusetts Commercial Driver’s license Valid Class 2B Hoisting Engineers License Intermediate knowledge of snow removal procedures This is a Grade 9, Salary Administration Plan, unbenefited position, $26.69/hr-$32.83/hr.
