He’s self-sufficient, fun and full of personality, and the family is seeking someone experienced with neurodiverse children—particularly those with ADHD, ODD, and high-functioning autism. They value a nanny who can balance structure with creativity, maintain strong boundaries, and keep their child positively engaged throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
Administer morning medication
Prepare simple breakfast (pancakes, waffles, etc.)
Keep child entertained with indoor and outdoor play
Provide redirection and manage short attention spans/outbursts
Take child to neighborhood park (car seat provided)
Supervise after school hours during school year and interim periods
Qualifications:
Experience working with children with ADHD, ODD, or on the autism spectrum
Strong skills in redirection, de-escalation, and behavioral management
High energy and able to keep up with an active child
Dependable and punctual
Comfortable preparing basic meals
Additional Information:
$25/hour
Mom will be out of the house full-time starting this summer
Family will provide additional car seat if sitter wants to drive child to neighborhood park
