Manufacturing/Quality Tester at ABB

Join our team to conduct testing at ABB’s manufacturing facility in Florence, SC. This role reports to the Production Manager and focuses on executing predefined tests, operating equipment, maintaining records, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical pre‑testing activities and ensure product or manufacturing process quality.
• Conduct various tests or experiments, sometimes modifying test setups or procedures.
• Read and interpret engineering configuration and wiring drawings.
• Collaborate with Engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Basic technical training with 2+ years of experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering configuration and wiring drawings.
• Determine actions within limits defined by test equipment practices and procedures, and summarize pertinent test data.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, recommend repair and modifications.
• Must have U.S. work authorization.
