What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Directly responsible for achieving annual sales goals and managing the sales pipeline using CRM software (Salesforce)
- Identify and pursue new customer opportunities within the solid waste industry to expand service offerings
- Develop and implement strategic market/business plans to grow APTIM's client base
- Lead marketing and sales initiatives for large projects and foster client engagement activities
- Monitor industry trends and competitors to enhance APTIM’s competitive position
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in professional services sales within the solid waste industry
- Proven experience in building and maintaining client relationships
- Strong business acumen with established industry connections
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience selling air compliance, emissions reduction, PFAS, renewable natural gas, and/or wastewater solutions
- Demonstrated leadership ability to build and mentor collaborative teams
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic market environment and adapt strategies as needed
