Simi Valley, CA
Schedule:
Full-time position with flexible weekday hours. Exact schedule to be discussed based on client needs and staff availability.
Compensation:

About the Role: Prime Advantage is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated individual to join our team as a Support Staff in the Simi Valley area. In this role, you will work one-on-one with an adult with developmental disabilities to support their independent living goals and overall quality of life.
The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys helping others build daily routines, stay organized, and engage meaningfully in their community.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with grocery shopping, meal planning, and meal preparation Support health and hygiene routines Provide guidance with budgeting and money management Help maintain a clean and organized living space (light housekeeping) Coordinate and provide transportation to medical and dental appointments Facilitate participation in community activities and recreational outings Encourage personal choice, self-advocacy, and decision-making Maintain accurate service documentation and daily progress notes
Ideal Candidate: Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred but not required) Patient, proactive, and dependable Strong communicator who respects client dignity and autonomy Has reliable transportation, a valid drivers license, and auto insurance Able to maintain a consistent schedule and uphold professional boundaries
