General Summary

The Rope Access - NDE Technician is responsible for executing standard rope access operations under the supervision of an authorized Level 3 rope access supervisor. This role involves using industrial rope access techniques and equipment to perform inspections, maintenance, and other industrial tasks in challenging access areas. Candidates must be physically capable, possess good communication skills, and be able to learn quickly. Responsibilities may include rescue operations, technical reporting, and administrative duties. Work schedules, locations, and travel requirements vary. Essential Job Functions

Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety standards and practices, and by alerting others to hazards. Perform assigned duties adhering to the company's core values and critical safety practices. Use proper personal protective equipment at all times. Follow instructions from Rope Access Supervisors or Lead Technicians. Respect heights and comply with OSHA and site-specific safety procedures. Understand and participate in work permits and hazard analyses. Engage in training and certification to stay current with safe rope access practices. Follow company policies and the Rope Access Code of Practice. Inspect and verify the safety of rope access systems before use. Identify hazards and report unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Maintain proficiency in rescue techniques and assist in rescues as certified. Job Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 18 years old. IRATA or SPRAT certification. NDT/NDE certification is preferred. Willingness to travel. Ability to work at heights. Work Conditions

Outdoor work in varying weather conditions at industrial sites. Interaction with team members and clients. Work around machinery with high noise levels. Wearing safety equipment as required. Potential for multiple job sites in a day and exposure to climate changes. Periodic travel out of town. Physical and Mental Requirements

Lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Perform physical activities like climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and stooping. Move and set up inspection equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and work at heights over 100 ft. Work extended hours and stand for long periods. Work in extreme temperatures and near industrial hazards. Communicate effectively with speech and hearing. Maintain mobility and reflexes for office and travel duties. Focus and multitask effectively. Exhibit responsible behavior.
