Anderson Humane’s South Elgin Veterinary Clinic is hiring a part‑time Clinic Resource Consultant to deliver outstanding service to our clients and support exceptional healthcare for our animals. Compensation is $16.00 per hour.
What you’ll do
Ensure each shelter animal is scheduled appropriately for vaccines, exams, and surgeries.
Schedule and assist clients at their low‑cost veterinary care appointments.
Use resourcefulness and initiative to address clients’ needs, answer medical questions, review post‑visit care instructions, etc.
Train in multiple computer programs to provide superior service and process clients’ payments.
Warmly greet visitors and maintain a welcoming environment.

What we’re looking for
At least 1 year of professional customer service experience.
Availability to work a flexible part‑time schedule of weekday mornings, afternoons, and evenings; nights, weekends, and non‑standard hours.
Fundamental veterinary knowledge or vet clinic experience is a plus.
Strong desire to work with the public using exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Enjoyment in learning new software programs.
Ability to exercise a high level of professionalism, especially in stressful and emotional situations.
A natural ability to juggle tasks and re‑prioritize in changing circumstances.
