The Business Transformation Management (BTM) Strategic Solution Advisor will focus on expanding SAP Signavio, SAP LeanIX and SolEx partners, Tricentis and Syniti footprints within selected strategic customer accounts, guiding the customer journey from discovery to solution adoption. The role combines strategic planning, customer advisory, and collaboration across multiple teams to drive SAP’s transformative impact on customer businesses.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Integrated Toolchain:
The integrated toolchain primarily comprises of SAP Signavio, SAP LeanIX, WalkMe, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Build and SolEx partners Tricentis, Syniti and OpenText. The integrated toolchain is the key enabler for business transformation and value realization. The BTM Strategic Solution Advisor should be able to deliver the end-to-end value message of the integrated toolchain for our customers.
Business Planning & Sales Alignment:
Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and execute business plans aligned with global and regional targets, aiming to achieve net bookings. Engage in account planning for targeted customers and support in pipeline development.
Leverage deep knowledge of SAP Signavio and LeanIX to support sales and adoption efforts, guiding clients through SAP's Business Transformation strategy.
Lead impactful storytelling presentations, workshops, and business value assessments tailored to both internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives.
Identify and qualify pipeline opportunities (R4Q) and orchestrate resources from Virtual Account Teams (VATs) to deliver a cohesive customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
Thought Leadership & Advisory:
Act as a trusted advisor to sales and customers, demonstrating leadership in SAP Signavio, SAP LeanIX and Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions and strategies.
Establish oneself as a thought leader within account teams, fine-tuning strategies for client business transformation.
Drive business discovery workshops, articulate customer vision, and position BTM solutions within broader SAP offerings, including SAP S/4HANA and “Rise with SAP” projects.
Collaboration & Community Engagement:
Work cross-functionally with regional and global SAP organizations, including partner management, marketing, and consulting, to ensure alignment with SAP objectives.
Identify consulting opportunities that support SAP Signavio and SAP LeanIX adoption and collaborate with SAP Consulting Services or partners to facilitate sales cycle and handover activities.
Engage in customer communities like user groups and advisory councils to strengthen customer relationships.
Education & Experience Requirements
Professional Background:
10+ years in enterprise software or international business, with a focus on sales, business development, or solution enablement.
Strong understanding of SAP’s product portfolio, competitive landscape, and market positioning. Preferably 5+ years working with SAP solutions.
Demonstrated experience in building sales pipelines, account planning, and evaluating opportunities in both mature and emerging markets.
Technical Knowledge:
Proficiency in SAP Signavio, SAP LeanIX, and BTP, with hands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA and/or RISE with SAP implementations preferred.
Experience positioning SolEx partners Tricentis and Syniti preferred.
Familiarity with business process management, re‑engineering, lean six sigma, or a business analyst role is advantageous.
Communication & Presentation:
Effective communicator comfortable engaging with C-level executives, technical architects, and program managers.
Customer Focus:
Strong commitment to building lasting customer relationships.
Strategic Thinking:
Skilled in developing innovative strategies aligned with sales goals.
Collaboration:
Works inclusively across diverse teams, both regional and global.

Education
Degree Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step towards demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $194,100 - 411,600 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
