Base Salary:

$60-80K/year

Commission:

Performance-based commission structure; based on new managed services sold

On-Target Earnings:

$170K/year

Job purpose We’re seeking a driven

Business Development Executive

to help grow our expanding client base. This role is focused on generating qualified opportunities and driving new business within the SMB and mid-market space. You’ll prospect, engage, qualify, and set first-time appointments (FTAs) with decision-makers—then guide them through discovery and solution design alongside our technical and executive team.

Duties and responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across SMB and mid-market organizations

Generate new leads, secure first-time appointments (FTAs), and qualify prospects to build a healthy sales pipeline

Collaborate with sales engineers to design solutions that align with prospects’ needs

Manage your pipeline, track activities, and forecast accurately in our CRM

Represent our company at networking events, conferences, and community engagements

Meet and exceed activity, conversion, and revenue goals

Requirements

4+ years of B2B sales experience (MSP or IT services experience preferred)

Proven success in outbound prospecting, qualification, and closing new business

Excellent communication and consultative selling skills

Self-motivated with a disciplined, entrepreneurial mindset

Experience using Apollo, HubSpot, ConnectWise, or similar sales/CRM tools

Working conditions Work regular business office hours Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm, but may be required to work additional hours to meet requirements. This position generally works in an office setting environment.

Physical requirements Must be able to sit and use the phone for long periods of time.
