Vertical Transportation Data Systems Analyst
Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid: 3–4 days/week in office)
Travel: 10%
Walker Consultants is seeking a Vertical Transportation Data Systems Analyst to support the growth of our emerging data-driven service offerings within the Vertical Transportation (VT) practice. This role will build internal systems and best practices, support client work across the country, and help expand Walker’s capabilities and reputation within the VT industry.

What You’ll Do Internal Work
Collect, organize, integrate, and analyze VT data across large client portfolios.
Build internal systems, workflows, and best practices for data storage, analysis, and reporting.
Develop dashboards, analytics tools, and AI-driven insights to support internal teams.
Client-Facing Work
Provide data analysis, visualization, KPI reporting, and portfolio insights for clients.
Create client-facing tools (Power BI dashboards, web platforms, APIs).
Support VT Consultants through data reviews, field visits, and deliverable preparation.
Participate in industry research, conferences, and thought leadership efforts.
What You Bring
Experience with data analysis and visualization (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Python, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Knowledge of databases, ETL processes, and data management.
Ability to troubleshoot systems, ensure data quality, and interpret complex datasets.
Strong communication, organization, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Interest in the Vertical Transportation industry (experience helpful, not required).
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or similar is preferred but not required.
Based in Walker’s Nashville, TN office.
Approximately 10% travel, including overnight and air travel, depending on project needs.

Compensation & Benefits Base salary range (estimated): $75,000 – $95,000 per year. The final salary offered may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law.
