Job Description The Maintenance Technician maintains associations with exterior carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs, and minor roofing repairs. The role guarantees that managed communities are properly and safely maintained.
Daily Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
Execute maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
Clean and repair building fixtures: lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.
Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment.
Maintain company‑issued vehicle (routine PM’s, oil changes, etc.) if applicable.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of general residential maintenance experience.
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
Customer‑service oriented and team‑oriented.
Self‑motivated, proactive, initiates tasks, and follows up.
Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes, safety regulations, OSHA, and local government requirements.
Time‑management and prioritization skills.
Valid driver’s license.
