Project Controls Talent Pipeline , primarily supporting clients in the
Denver metro area and other major markets . We are currently hiring for many of these positions, but headcount needs and openings shift regularly. We're building a bench of Project Controls and Scheduling professionals at
all levels , from early-career to senior leadership, for industrial and mission-critical construction projects.
These are all
full-time, on-site positions
with opportunities for career growth within the organization.
We typically support clients with roles such as:
Directors & Managers of Project Controls & Scheduling (up to $225,000)
Schedulers (Level I – Senior/Master/Lead) (up to $140,000)
Project Controls Analysts & Cost Specialists (up to $130,000)
Senior Cost / Earned Value / Reporting & Analytics Specialists (up to $150,000)
Document Control & Forecasting Support (up to $90,000)
Project Controls Coordinators & Training-Focused Roles (up to $120,000)
Responsibilities Depending on your background and level, responsibilities may include:
Developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules using tools such as
Primavera P6
or similar platforms.
Building and managing
baselines, logic ties, calendars, and resource loading
to support realistic, achievable project plans.
Tracking
cost commitments, actuals, and forecasts
to support month-end reporting and proactive risk identification.
Supporting
earned value management (EVM) , productivity tracking, and variance analysis for active projects.
Preparing and distributing regular
schedule and cost reports
for project managers, operations leaders, and executives.
Partnering with project management and field teams to validate progress, update schedules, and align on recovery plans when required.
Maintaining and enforcing
coding structures, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and project controls standards
across projects and regions.
Coordinating with document control to ensure
drawings, RFIs, submittals, and revisions
are tracked and reflected in schedules and forecasts.
Assisting with or leading
month-end and forecasting cycles , helping leadership understand portfolio health, risks, and opportunities.
Building or refining
dashboards and analytics
(Excel or BI tools) that improve visibility into performance metrics.
For senior/lead/manager roles:
Mentoring junior schedulers, analysts, and coordinators.
Establishing best practices and governance for project controls and scheduling.
For regional/leadership roles:
Providing oversight across multiple projects or regions.
Standardizing controls practices and ensuring data integrity for decision-making.
Qualifications We are building a pipeline across multiple levels. Strong candidates will bring a mix of:
Core Technical Experience (one or more focus areas):
Experience in
project controls, scheduling, cost control, or related analytics
in construction, industrial, or engineering environments.
Hands‑on experience with
Primavera P6, MS Project , or similar scheduling tools (strong plus for P6).
Familiarity with
budgets, commitments, forecasts, cost codes, and change management .
Exposure to
earned value
concepts (EV, CPI, SPI), productivity tracking, or performance measurement.
Comfort working with data in
Excel
(pivot tables, lookups, formulas) and/or
BI tools
for reporting and dashboards.
Industry & Domain Exposure:
Background supporting
electrical, industrial, infrastructure, oil & gas, power, or mission‑critical/data center
projects is highly preferred.
Experience collaborating with
project managers, engineers, superintendents, or field supervision .
Understanding of how
schedule and cost data connects to real field activities .
Education & Level Guidelines (not hard rules):
Entry/Early‑Career:
0–3+ years in scheduling, cost, or analytical roles; degree in construction management, engineering, finance, or related field preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
Mid‑Level:
3–7+ years in project controls or scheduling with increasing responsibility and project complexity.
Senior/Lead/Manager:
7–10+ years in project controls with proven ability to lead practices, teams, or regional portfolios.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to
data accuracy .
Ability to translate
complex reports into clear, actionable insights .
Comfortable pushing back on assumptions when data tells a different story, while maintaining positive working relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage
multiple priorities and deadlines
in a fast‑paced project environment.
