Mobile Diesel Technician / Truck Mechanic

Our team is currently looking for a Diesel Technician – Truck Mechanic to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service operating a service truck and performing onsite maintenance & repairs. Mon‑Fri Schedule. After Hours – On Call Rotation (4–10 Hour Shifts Available).
What are the Duties?
Must be available to work 70% in the field, 30% in shop environment
Service and repair work, engine, drivetrain, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes
90% of repairs will be conducted within customer secured lots (some roadside assistance)
Opportunity for advancement through training
Troubleshooting and inspections
Preventative Maintenance
Must be available for after hours on call (rotation basis)
Will operate mobile service truck daily (When “On call” can take Service Truck home)
Good computer skills and good verbal communication skills
Must be able to work independently
Will perform onsite maintenance & repairs at customer's location
Preventative Maintenance Service Background Required
Trailer repair experience a HUGE plus!
Education And/or Experience
2+ years relevant truck repair experience required
Preventative Maintenance Service Background Required
Preferred Certificate or Degree from Diesel Program
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Engine or Transmission Certifications are a huge PLUS
Valid Driver’s License with good driving record
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus
ASE Certifications a plus
Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card
Physical And Safety Requirements
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Must be able to read and write reports.
Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
