What you’ll do As a Production Technician, Magnet Manufacturing, you will operate and maintain press equipment used in the magnet production process. This role involves setting up, running, monitoring, and maintaining hydraulic, mechanical, or pneumatic press systems to meet precise production specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with press operations in a manufacturing environment and a strong focus on safety, quality, and process control.

Press Operation & Setup

Set up and operate press machines according to production specifications and work orders

Adjust machine settings to ensure consistent quality and dimensional accuracy

Load raw materials and inspect finished parts for conformance to tolerances, and quality standards

Maintain documentation such as operational logs and routers

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press equipment

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical or operational issues during production

Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams as needed

Safety & Compliance

Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE while operating machinery

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S or similar workplace organization principles

Participate in safety audits and training sessions as required

What we’re looking for

Experience in a collaborative production environment

Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50 lb.

Ability to self‑direct and meet deadlines

Strong interpersonal, prioritization, and organizational skills

Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Our pay and benefits

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on education, experience and skills
