As a Co-Manager, you will ensure the effective and profitable operation of the assigned retail store, including developing all hosts assigned to that store. Assist the store manager in implementing a sales-building culture that ensures growth through execution of company merchandising programs, weekly sales plans, weekly sales themes, and in-stock conditions throughout the store, while actively participating in weekly sales meetings. Provide desired levels of guest satisfaction, courtesy, and service throughout the store with special emphasis on front-end fast service commitment. Accountable for achieving budgeted financial results in assigned area and assist store manager in achieving total store results. Protect company assets: merchandise, cash, facilities, equipment, conduct weekly manager audits, assist in shrink functions, manage grocery inventory with shrink results

Effectively control store variable expenses, including achieving budgeted wage percent. Assist in staffing the store, including forecasting needs, recruitment, training, and develop talent planning bench for the store. Ensure direct reports understand expectations for performance, hold them accountable to achieve budgeted results, review performance, and provide feedback (ongoing and annual performance appraisal). Maintain constant awareness and reaction to store conditions through frequent and detailed store walks. Effectively train and develop store management team, especially department managers, to ensure lowes foods has the necessary bench for our growth. Ensure sanitation and food safety standards are maintained throughout the store. Create an atmosphere that ensures positive store morale through effective supervisory treatment and recognition, fostering an enthusiastic, guest-focused, selling culture. Provide and facilitate effective communications to Store Manager, Field Merchandisers, and store hosts. Ensure stores are run in compliance with company standards (ALI audits). Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local statutes, regulations and company policies. Maintain a safe facility for guests and hosts. Qualifications

Possess the knowledge and skills generally associated with a Bachelor’s degree plus 1-2 years supermarket management experience. Employment type
