Job Title: Project Manager - Electrical Infrastructure Office Location: Hybrid (onsite required Tuesdays and Wednesdays) - Rosemead, CA 91770 Duration: 18+ months Pay Rate: $88.80/hr W2 About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a major utility company's electrical infrastructure team. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical projects that enhance the safety and reliability of electrical systems serving millions of customers.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Develop and maintain yearly, monthly, and weekly schedules for inspections and project milestones
Coordinate field investigations and manage project timelines using SAP, MS Access, and Excel
Monitor project progress, costs, and resource allocation
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare and maintain comprehensive logs, databases, and reports for management review
Ensure regulatory compliance through detailed documentation and tracking
Conduct cost/benefit and trend analysis to optimize project outcomes
Interface with cross-functional teams, contractors, and external partners
Lead weekly and ad-hoc project status meetings
Identify challenges and recommend solutions to drive program success
Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to strict safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Support initiatives that improve electrical system safety and reliability
Required Qualifications Education
Bachelor's degree required
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and SAP
Experience with project management tools and methodologies
Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities
Core Competencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
