In a supportive educational environment in San Jose, CA, professionals will provide crucial speech and language services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position is dedicated to addressing the needs of individuals with speech and language disorders through comprehensive evaluation and tailored therapy.

Location: San Jose, CA

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students with speech and language disorders. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to guide therapy sessions. Deliver targeted therapy aimed at achieving speech and language goals. Carefully monitor and document student progress throughout the therapy process. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination. Engage and educate families about the therapy process and progress.

Qualifications

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure. Preferred possession of a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
