0.5-0.8 FTE, 40-64 hours per pay period. Hours scheduled between 7 am and 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays.Position Overview:The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a crucial role in providing health care services using radionuclides to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of a patient and operating nuclear imaging equipment. This professional is responsible for executing nuclear medicine policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals are essential for seamless patient care delivery. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist must demonstrate proficiency in patient care practices and possess the necessary knowledge and skills to meet the needs of patients across various age groups.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Meets the requirements of the MDH, and Radioactive Materials regulations under the direction of the RSO and maintains all required records.Maintains patient procedure schedules, and cooperates with diagnostic radiology and ultrasound on complimentary exams; may work in other modalities as required.Supervisory Responsibilities:No direct reports.Skills and Experience:Required:Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.Registered as a certified nuclear medicine technologist (CNMT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) licensure.BLS certification.Basic computer skills.Preferred:Experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures independently.Summary of Benefits at Winona Health:At Winona Health, we are dedicated to offering a comprehensive and affordable benefits package for our employees and their families.
