Warehouse Worker Job Duties:
Loading and unloading trucks Order picking Stocking products Labeling shipping and receiving Completing paperwork for inventory transfers Perform preventive maintenance on forklift, vehicles, and other tools Arranging for repairs / maintenance of forklift, vehicles, and other tools Maintain safe and clean work environment Keep track of tool inventory Move waste to dumpsters Operate forklift, trucks, and other tools Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged product is accepted in Package products for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling) Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person Maintain inventory levels Process returns accurately Follow all established policy and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace Present a neat and professional image Assist in keeping facility secure Follow company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Skills / Qualifications:
Must have valid driver's license Accuracy and attention to detail Recognize and understand product numbers and alpha/numeric codes Understand basic inventory, warehousing, and stocking procedures Able to work independently with some direction Capable of following written instruction and documented procedures Able to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) Teamwork Coordination Organization Planning Time management Reporting skills Inventory control Documentation skills Equipment maintenance Data entry skills Dependability Able to multi-task Stand / walk for duration of work hours Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 100 lbs.)
